Care for your Life value all our staff. Within each care setting there are the following teams
Qualified Nurses/Senior Care Staff Team
These staff are responsible for the day to day shift responsibilities, liaising with GPs, Hospital staff, District Nurses and other professionals. They are a vital communication link between residents, their families and the Management of the Home.
They all undergo a vigorous training programme to ensure they are capable and knowledgeable to undertake this vital role.
Supporting them are:
Care Assistants Team
Their role is to ensure the residents daily needs are met, including fluid & nutritional intake. All care assistant are keyworkers i.e. they are assigned a resident and become the link between the resident and families/friends.
Significant other roles are:
Housekeeping Team
Their role is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring Infection control measures are met and enforced.
Catering Team.
Provide wholesome meals, from tradition fish & chips to curries and pasta dishes. Our catering teamswork hard to meet all the nutritional requirements for our older Residents, but they never lose sight of what is most important – that our Residents look forward to their most favourite appetising and delicious dishes.
Residents can choose whether they take each meal in the dining rooms or, if they prefer, in the comfort of their own room.
Activities Coordinators.
All our Care Homes employ an Activities Co-ordinator who arranges a varied and extensive calendar of events and entertainment. Care for your Life aim to provide a wide range of organised and informal activities for all abilities and interests. Residents are encouraged to continue existing interests and activities and take up new ones.
We provide opportunities for Residents to have a peaceful quiet environment also to socialise as theywish. We have a selection of lounges and patio areas and visitors are always welcome to spend quality time with their loved ones and to enjoy the activity programme.
Care for your Life Care Homes offer a wide range of therapeutic techniques to all Residents which include a chiropodist, Optician and hairdresser (additional charges apply).
